Tuesday to Saturday, 2pm to 6pm The Maison de l’architecture invites children and adults to get together during the school vacations and draw together. Perfume creation workshop
Thursday to Sunday during school vacations Test your olfactory creativity by creating a perfume totally personalized to your image in a charming perfume shop in the heart of the historic center. Et Patati et Patrimoine
April 7 to 11, 2pm These workshops are offered by the Métropole as part of its Villes et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire program, and are open to children aged 4 to 12. Designed to be fun, they are based on observation, to make heritage accessible to all. On offer: Let’s play in the Aître Saint-Maclou, timber-framed houses followed by a 2D house workshop, fantastic animals, cluedo at the Abbey Church of Saint-Ouen, Mémory workshop at the Gros Horloge. Until June 1, in metropolitan museums This year, Métropole Rouen Normandie explores the many facets of Reconstruction, echoing the post-war period and the transformation of the region’s heritage. The Fabrique des savoirs and Corderie Vallois explore the post-war reconstruction of towns and factories, while the Musée des Beaux-Arts looks back at the restoration of the cathedral spire after the fire of 1822.The Musée de la Céramique looks at the symbolism of broken and repaired earthenware.Finally, the Musée Flaubert looks at the writer’s home as a place of memory and transformation. Key dates- Jardins en éveil on April 5 and 6: This year, the spotlight is on fruit trees, with the theme “Les fruits défendus” (forbidden fruit). This event in the gardens of Saint-Georges Abbey features over 70 exhibitors sharing their know-how. There will also be lectures, concerts, a seed swap, workshops for adults and an entertainment village for children.
- Easter falls during the vacations this year, so don’t miss the egg hunts and events organized in Seine-Maritime!
- The Luminiscence immersive show is extended, good news for all those who haven’t yet had the chance to marvel at this magnificent 360° video mapping show.
- Open Capfinances from April 12 to 20: Meet France’s top tennis players and many of the world’s top players, preparing for Roland Garros at the 4th edition of the Open de Rouen.
- Foire internationale de Rouen. Last weekend to wander the hundreds of aisles in search of the latest trends. This year, the spotlight is on Canada!
- Courant d’Art. Until April 10, discover Ivan Martel’s exhibition, playing on the contrast between light and darkness, in the sumptuous Abbatiale Saint-Ouen.

- Spring market in La Bouille on April 13: Meet some 50 local exhibitors at La Bouille’s craft and gourmet market. A perfect Sunday to celebrate the arrival of spring.
- Exhibitions:Arboriculture au XVIIe siècle, in the gardens of Abbaye Saint-Georges, explores fruit-growing techniques in abbey gardens, highlighting the work of figures such as Abbé Legendre and Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinie. Paradeisos, in the Parc de Clères, pays tribute to visionary ornithologist Jean Delacour, highlighting his dream of a paradise where animals and vegetation coexist in harmony.
