Rouen à Table! 2026

Following the success of the first two editions, which attracted thousands of guests from all over the city, ‘Rouen à Table!’ is back with even more surprises and chefs who, this year, will draw inspiration from music, during the week of 7 to 11 October 2026.

From exceptional dinners, gourmet treasure hunts, giant cookery and pastry-making classes, mocktail workshops, four-handed dinners, a party, a grand breakfast and chef demonstrations, every moment showcases the culinary expertise of the city of Rouen, affirming its membership of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of gastronomy – the only French city recognised in this field.

‘Rouen à Table!’ is an event co-organised by the City of Rouen, the Rouen Normandy Metropolitan Area, Rouen Tourisme and Les Vitrines de Rouen, with the support of committed sponsors and partners.

Rouen at the Table!

An event to celebrate fine dining

A must-attend event for food lovers and connoisseurs, ‘Rouen à Table!’ proudly celebrates Rouen’s gastronomic identity, as the only French city designated a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. This exceptional event complements the Fête du Ventre, infusing it with a touch of creativity and authenticity through unique culinary experiences spread throughout the city.
Renowned chefs, passionate artisans, local producers and young talents in training come together to showcase the flavours of the Normandy region in iconic venues. More than just a festival, Rouen à Table! is an ode to sharing, passing on traditions and culinary innovation.

The 3rd edition

With a focus on music

Rouen, the first French city in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network for Gastronomy, will showcase its love of culinary delights with the third edition of ‘Rouen à Table!’ which will combine gastronomy with music. With orchestral flair and a chef’s precision, the chefs will take to their pianos and harmonise their dishes with the finest musical scores, selected and remixed especially for the occasion, drawing inspiration from contemporary music or the notes of the classical repertoire.

Christophe Cressent

Patron of ‘Rouen à Table’!

Awarded the title of ‘Meilleur Ouvrier de France’ in 2000, Christophe Cressent infuses his breads and pastries with all his expertise and good humour across his three shops. The great-grandson of a baker and a trainer for ten years, he bakes his bread using natural sourdough, organic flour and traditional French methods.
His range includes old-fashioned rye tarts, walnut breads, rustic loaves and his famous ‘signature’ baguette, which the people of Rouen are mad about, not to mention his flaky brioches, Viennese pastries and other equally delicious treats.
An artisan at heart, he loves to uphold baking traditions whilst also experimenting, playing with textures and flavours. He has thus revived the ‘mirliton de Rouen’, a small tartlet made with sugar, vanilla and melted butter, which he has given a modern twist whilst retaining its creamy texture.
