The Feast of the Belly and the Norman Gastronomy
Celebrated in the 1930s, the Feast of the Belly and Norman Gastronomy has been brought back to life at the initiative of the Rouen Conqueror association. As every year, it will be held quartier duVieux-Marché (Place du Vieux-Marché,place de la Pucelle, rue Rollon, rue Guillaume le Conquérant), but also rue aux Ours! This year, only the west side of the Rue Jeanne d’Arc will be occupied to facilitate the passage of pedestrians.
No less than 160 producers will come to share with you their passion for the gastronomy of our region: fruits and vegetables, cheeses, chocolates, alcoholic beverages*, pastries and other products will make your mouth water … Always favoring short circuits!
More than 150,000 visitors of all nationalities come to enjoy this gourmand event every year, which delights the eyes and taste buds of young and old alike! For this 24th edition, the event will have as its guest of honor… the Normandy Region!
Maybe a little chauvinistic, it is especially the opportunity to celebrate the nomination of Rouen to the “Creative City in Gastronomy” label of UNESCO! The stands dedicated to the region will be located rue aux Ours.
