The Feast of the Belly and Norman Gastronomy
First celebrated in the 1930s, the Fête du Ventre et de la Gastronomie Normande was revitalised by the Rouen Conquérant association. For the past 2 years, the Vitrines de Rouen shopkeepers’ association has taken up the torch. As every year, it will be held in the Vieux-Marché district, Place de la Pucelle, Rue Rollon, Rue Guillaume le Conquérant, Rue aux Ours and Rue Jeanne d’Arc.No fewer than 155 exhibitors will be sharing their passion for the gastronomy of our region with you: Norman cheeses, fish products, fruit and vegetables, andouille sausages and other delicatessen meats of course, but also watercress, snails and even new Norman flavours: saffron, mustard, wine… and other products that will delight you.… and other products that will make your mouth water… Always with an emphasis on short distribution channels! More than 150,000 visitors of all nationalities come to enjoy this gourmet event every year, delighting the eyes and taste buds of young and old alike!
