Animals in museums

Can you spot the animals in Rouen’s museum collections? They’re hiding in the Ceramics and Secq des Tournelles museums. Bats, unicorns, bears, dragons and fish are just some of the animals to be found on this tour of feathers and scales, which will reveal some very surprising stories about the iron and ceramics heritage.

Your guide is a magician. With him, you’ll plunge into his family’s history and live Rouen’s history through the eyes of his ancestors. Magicians, jugglers and jugglers will take you on a tour of the city’s past, from the construction of its castles to medieval festivals and court life, all enhanced by instructive and participatory magic tricks.

Les Féeries de l’Aître Saint-Maclou

This edition explores the symbolism of rivers through multidisciplinary exhibitions in seven museums of the Réunion des Musées Métropolitains. These highlight little-exhibited works and welcome loans from the Centre Pompidou. This season dedicated to rivers is divided into two parts, with the first dedicated to contemporary art, found in La Ronde, and the second devoted to the collections of RMM museums with Le Temps des Collections. Discover, in particular, the wonderful work of Raoul Dufy at the Musée des Beaux-Arts, inspired by the Seine, our territory’s major axis linking Paris, Rouen and Le Havre.
