In just two years,Rouen à Table! has become the must-attend autumn gastronomic event in Rouen, along with the Fête du Ventre and the Normandy Gastronomy Festival. Held in October, this major event celebrates the culinary excellence and creativity of chefs from Rouen and Normandy. Spearheaded by Rouen Tourisme and a host of partners, it brings together gastronomy enthusiasts for several days ofunique and innovative experiences: four-hands dinners, gourmet rallies, giant cooking and pastry-making workshops, mixology classes, film tastings and chefs’ duels. A real showcase for local expertise, Rouen à Table! highlights the Michelin-starred chefs, craftsmen, producers and hotel schools who are putting Normandy’s gastronomy on the map. Working in synergy with the Fête du Ventre et de la Gastronomie Normande, the event attracts local, national and international audiences, establishing Rouen as the capital of good food and the only French city to be awarded the UNESCO Creative City label for gastronomy. Each year’s event is based around an inspiring theme, such as cinema in 2025, which has given chefs the opportunity to revisit the great classics of the seventh art through bold, tasty creations. More than just a culinary festival, Rouen à Table! is a true celebration of gourmet delights, conviviality and Normandy’s gastronomic heritage.

The Belly and Normandy Gastronomy Festival

A celebration of local produce and conviviality awaits you in the heart of Rouen, at the Fête du Ventre et de la Gastronomie Normande!Around the historic lanes of the Vieux-Marché, the streets come alive as Norman producers set up their stalls selling mature cheeses, charcuterie, seafood, seasonal fruit and vegetables, not forgetting original sweets like saffron and home-grown mustard. Each visit is transformed into a gourmet stroll through over a hundred exhibitors committed to short distribution channels and local know-how. As well as the tastings, the event is packed with festive entertainment, including cookery demonstrations, a mini-farm and live music to make the festivities as joyful as they are tasty. It’s the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Normandy gastronomy, meet the craftspeople, share an authentic moment with friends or family, and indulge in tasty discoveries around every corner. This not-to-be-missed festival is almost a century old, and takes place every year in October!
