Gilles Tournadre

Sponsor of Rouen à Table !

Gilles Tournadre, an exceptional chef with roots in his native Normandy, opened his own restaurant, Gill, in 1984, after a stint at some of Paris’s finest tables. His love of cooking began at an early age, watching the TV show “Art et Magie de la cuisine” with his grandfather, a pastry chef. This fascination for the culinary arts never left him, leading him to begin his apprenticeship at the famous La Couronne restaurant , considered at the time to be the best address in Normandy. After working in prestigious establishments such as Lucas Carton, Auberge des Templiers, Chalet du Mont d’Arbois in Megève and Taillevent, he finally returned to his Rouen roots. Over the decades, his restaurant Gill has established itself as a benchmark of haute gastronomy, attracting distinctions and awards, including 2 Michelin stars, which he decided to return in 2020 after more than 32 years.
