Classical playwright Pierre Corneille(1606-1684) inherited this timber-framed house from his father at the end of the 16th century. It contains period furniture, sculptures, paintings, etchings, medals, rare books and original editions, signed letters and documents which recall the great poet and his familiy. The 17th century orchard, the bread oven, the well, the pig trough and the vegetable garden give the domain a country-like atmosphere.
