Christmas at Château du Taillis

December 7, 2pm-8pm and December 8, 10am-6pmChâteau du Taillis is decked out in its finest Christmas decorations! Christmas trees, gifts, candles, ribbons and garlands will enchant the château. Around fifty craftspeople will be on hand to offer a multitude of gift ideas. Christmas market and fireworks at Jumièges

On December 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Jumièges is transformed into a real Santa Claus village! On Place Martin du Gard, take a photo with Santa and his mascots, then stroll through the craft market. From 1:30 p.m., take a free horse-drawn carriage ride. In the Salle des Fêtes, children can enjoy a variety of Christmas workshops from 2:30 to 4pm, then the mood turns to rock’n’roll with the children’s group “Les Zélectrons Frits”. At 6 p.m., meet behind the village hall for a magnificent fireworks display!

December 7 and 8, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. This 5th edition promises to be an enchanting event at theChâteau de Bonnemare, totally transformed for the festive season! There’s plenty to see and do all weekend long:the castle’s illuminations, a local Christmas market, ponies, a merry-go-round, readings of Christmas tales, the presence of Santa Claussence of Santa Claus,a Christmas show, a choir from Fleury sur Andelle secondary school, a dance show, wooden games and a maze. December 14, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For this 1st edition, stroll along the rue des Martyrs to discover local products, crafts and regional specialties. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on the Place de la Libération, children can enjoy Santa’s House and surprise activities such as the Penguin Waltz and creative workshops, followed by a face-painting stand from 2 p.m. onwards. To round off the day in style, a grand luminous parade, organized by the Elbeuf Merchants Association, will take place from 6 p.m. in the Rue des Martyrs.
