Armada concerts

From June 8 to 18, 2023, Armada concerts make their grand return alongside the world’s most beautiful sailing ships. Headliners from the international scene as well as local musical revelations will be on hand every evening to set the Armada stage alight.

You'll be dancing by the quayside...

Free concerts, open to all, will enliven the 10 days of festivities. Concerts will be offered every evening from June 9 to 17 on Rouen’s Quai Waddington.

The 2013 edition of the Armada had seen Amadou et Mariam, Asaf Avidan, BB Brunes, Mika, Nolwen Leroy and Madness. Previous editions have also been an opportunityfor the public to attend free concerts by Alain Bashung, AaRON, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Gilberto Gil, Cali, Les Rita Mitsouko, Jean-Louis Aubert, Tryo, Salif Keita, Johnny Clegg or Iggy Pop.

Magic System, Bénébar, Claudio Capeo, Feu Chatterton and Dadju had set the stage alight at l’Armada 2019.

Local talents will once again be in the spotlight for this season 2023 of Armada concerts in Rouen, a veritable showcase for Normandy talent.

Artist groups will perform for free on the stage located on the presqu’île de Waddington in Rouen rive droite. Bands from Normandy will be on hand to provide the opening acts.

FromThursday 08 to Saturday 17 June after the Armada concerts end at 11:45pm, shuttles will be available for Normans having come to drop anchor for an evening (or more…) in Rouen!
