Golf near RouenIn a verdant, wooded setting, the golf de Mont-Saint-Aignan offers an 18-hole course (par of 70) for the more seasoned players, but also a driving range for practice or beginners wishing to learn.
The second golf course located on the outskirts of Rouen is that of Bois-Guillaume. More specifically, it features a 9-hole course suitable for all levels and a golf training center with a “pro” driving range of over 300 meters, a large 600 m² synthetic putting green, a large practice bunker and 3 “pitch and putt” holes.
These two facilities also offer lessons and initiations throughout the year.
Golf in the Seine Valley
How about a round of golf in the middle of a regional nature park? Head for Jumièges, where the town also boasts a full golf course. Its majestic setting, in a loop of the Seine, on the fruit and orchard route and just a stone’s throw from the superb abbey towers in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des boucles de la Seine Normande.
With 50 practice stations and an 18-hole course (par of 72), the golf course extends over more than 62 hectares. If you’d like to try your hand at golf on this superb course, the Tourist Office offers lessons in partnership with the resident club.
