The Rush Festival
A cultural, festive and family festivalAs summer approaches, Rouen’s musical appointment is taken. Previous editions have enchanted young and old with concerts, shows, conferences, exhibitions or artistic performances around constantly renewed themes.
For this year, the Rush Festival unveils a brand new identity and changes format for even more festivities from June 22 to July 2, 2023.
A nomadic festival
Since 2016, the Rush festival has taken over the Rollet Peninsula, but this year it will be different. Rush becomes nomadic! Initially organized over three days, the festival now extends over six evenings and two afternoons, between the end of the Armada concerts and the beginning of the “Terrasses du jeudi”.
Eight outdoor venues are now invested: the city hall gardens, the Aître Saint-Maclou, the Kaleidoscope Garden in Petit-Quevilly, the Belbeuf nautical base, the brasserie Union-B de Malaunay, the Academy of Maromme, the théâtre de Verdureof Petit-Couronne and the parc du Champ des Bruyères of Saint-Étienne du Rouvray.
These locations were chosen for their intimacy, natural, and heritage. (Re)discover these sites while combining music and landscape!
A free festival
In addition to now being nomadic, this year’s Rush festival announces the return of the free festival with the need to book. Moreover, who says new edition, says new identity: it is thus Inaniel Swims, illustrator, who is at the graphic handles for the 2023 edition.
