Festivals in the heart of heritage

The Normandie Impressionniste festival is one of the most important artistic gatherings in France. Organized every 3 or 4 years, it highlights this pictorial current through exhibitions, projections, workshops and many other events that gather each edition more than 1 million people. So the appointment is made for 2024: Normandie Impressionniste will celebrate during its next edition the 150 years of impressionism, with the program of exhibitions abounding and events in the air of time. Organized by thecity of Sotteville-lès-Rouen in partnership with the Atelier 231, Vivacité has been coming back for more than 30 years with a program of ever more creative shows outdoors. For 3 days, nearly 300 performances are offered day and night with an unparalleled atmosphere. Through light and sound shows, processions and fireworks, it’s more than 70 companies that transport you into their world and make this event unique. Organized by thehalle du 106, it is THE highlight of the normandy cultural scene. Thanks to a programming full of celebration, audacity and openness, a good number of artists and groups are discovered. After taking over the Rollet Peninsula for several years, the festival is nomadic and free, still on reservation. A brand new format starting this year: several venues on the territory of the Rouen Metropolis, a different temporality, but a Rush still as vitaminized with world music, rap, pop, electro, rock and folk!

Each year, Les Musicales de Normandie offers over 30 concerts in the most remarkable heritage venues of the region. These are over 20 venues that host exceptional concerts all summer long in Seine-Maritime and Eure. The festival is today a reference where it is possible to hear both the greatest artists of the international scene and the most beautiful revelations. In short, a program of excellence, rich and varied giving pride of place to classical music and world music, from recital to grand orchestra!

Every last weekend of September, fans of comic strips gather in Darnétal. Normandiebulle celebrates the 9th Art through a rich program: signings, exhibitions, conferences, round tables, shows… The festival affirms its will to decline the comic book in all its forms! Each year, a guest of honor sets the tone with a theme, and it is with a tenfold desire that exchanges, sharing and laughter bring together authors and visitors. A privileged moment of conviviality around the exciting world of boards and bubbles!
