The Claude Monet studio

The artist moved there from February to mid-April 1892 and 1893 to paint a series of around thirty canvases of the western façade of Notre-Dame Cathedral.The “cathedral series ” depicts the course of light on the prestigious Gothic monument, which the artist transcribed in fleeting, colourful impressions. Claude Monet’s paintings can be seen in the world’s greatest museums, including the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rouen, in the Impressionist Gallery, which is open free of charge all year round. This historic venue, with its exceptional view of the Cathedral, can be booked for any type of corporate event: meetings, conferences, seminars, lunches, dinners or cocktails.
