Located in the first loop of the Seine downstream from Rouen, the Forêt domaniale de Roumare covers almost 4,000 hectares.
With 40% coniferous trees, its landscapes are highly varied. The forest is also home to a rich biodiversity. Mammals, birds and even batrachians call it home!
The forest also offers a network of sites accessible to all, ideal for family walks or outings that will delight the more athletic. The Parc animalier, the Arboretum du petit charme and the Ben Harrati sports trail have been awarded the Tourisme et Handicap label.
In 2015, Forêt de Roumare was awarded the "Forêt d'exception" label. Awarded by the Office National des Forêts, this label aims to reward the excellence approaches implemented in emblematic state-owned forests.
