Rouen à Table!
Transmission and awareness-raisingThis event, open to all, aims to promote the quality of local produce and the diversity of Norman flavors, in line with Rouen’s membership of the UNESCO Creative Cities network for gastronomy since November 2021. The program features a wealth of educational activities, culinary demonstrations and tasting workshops, encouraging the public to adopt eating habits that favor short-distance distribution, and promoting Normandy gastronomy to foreign audiences and future generations. Rouen à Table ! places particular emphasis on the power of passing on know-how, with the support of the region’s hotel and catering educational institutions, craftsmen and restaurateurs. A large number of them are supporting the initiative by taking part in all the concepts on offer during the festive weekend, including the “grand goûter”.

Then the whole family will enjoy an entertaining show on the theme of food waste and seasonal consumption, put on in partnership withAtelier 231. And that’s not all! La Galette du Val de Seine will be bringing its artisanal touch to the event, with fresh crêpes and galettes made with quality local ingredients. Our partners have left nothing to chance for this exceptional closing event. Sirest, supplier of meals for our children in the school canteens, will be offering a gourmet break with its tasty 4/4, chocolate-banana cake and far breton. Their culinary expertise and use of fresh ingredients will guarantee a top-quality tasting experience.
