Beaches near Rouen

Make the most of summer and sunny days to swim or lie on the sand at one of the beaches near Rouen, accessible from the leisure centers in the Seine valley or the seaside resorts on the Normandy coast.

Rouen

sur Mer

Like every summer, the Rouen sur Mer event transforms Rouen’s left bank quayside into a beach, with a host of events, sporting activities, workshops and games for children. For a month, the capital of Normandy becomes a seaside resort where everyone can relax with their feet in the sand, just a stone’s throw from Rouen’s city center. Located at the foot of Pont Guillaume le Conquérant, Rouen sur Mer beach welcomes you every day in July.

The basics

leisure

Just a few minutes from Rouen, take advantage of the natural setting of the Bédanne and Mesnil-sous-Jumièges leisure centers to spend a lovely day by the water. In addition to beaches with safe bathing areas, the leisure centers offer activities for the whole family: water sports, tree climbing, inflatable structures, etc. With the Tourist Office, you can even try your hand at stand-up paddling with an instructor during a sunset tour of the Seine. This sporty, fun and trendy activity will give you unforgettable moments on the water.
